The electronic book reader should be considered the wave of the future and the Kindle 2 is an exception. Basic features include an e-ink display with 16 shades gray, 6 different type sizes (good bye reading glasses!) and a lightweight 10 oz. (no more hand cramping for arthritic hands, fingers and wrists!).

There is no monthly fee for wireless access or any other rate of the cost of the Kindle 2, and each book. While Sony offers a very similar product, the Kindle electronic book reader 2 offers more options at a much best. The advantage to downloading books without a computer, and shippers (USB and wall charger) access to Wikipedia and the newspaper and magazine downloads and the price of individual books is only part of a lead over Sony's version.

The one and only downfall of the Kindle 2 e-book reader is that it is the lack of an LED light for reading at night. However, this omission by Amazon can be easily overcome by purchasing a light clip of $ 15.

In general, the Kindle 2 is a clear leader in the genre of electronic book reader. We hope to go fast!
